Business Mobile Banking

People's United Bank’s Business Mobile Banking gives you the convenience to bank wherever and whenever you want, right from your mobile device.

Our Business Mobile Banking App was designed with the small business customer in mind. Business Mobile Banking lets you quickly manage your business account while on the go from your Smartphone or Tablet. It also features Mobile Check Deposit which allows you to deposit checks without leaving your office. Download our Business Mobile App from the Apple® App Storesm, Google® Play Store™ or Amazon® App Store.

  • Business Mobile Banking Approvals - view and transmit time sensitive transactions requiring approval right from your mobile device.

    The limits that we will apply will depend on how long you have been a customer of People’s United and the balances you maintain in all of your accounts held at People’s United regardless of eligibility for mobile check deposit. To learn more, about our limits learn more about them here.

    If you need to deposit a large volume of checks or need a higher deposit limit, our Remote Deposit Capture provides customized limits to meet your need.

     

  • How Mobile Check Deposit works

     

    • From your Business Mobile App, sign on to your account
    • Select Deposit from the mobile banking menu page to start a new deposit
    • Endorse the back of the check you wish to deposit
    • Snap a picture of the front and back of the endorsed check
    • Click OK once you capture the check images
    • Complete the Deposit Info fields

     

    What Happens to your check after you make a deposit:

    Shortly after you submit a check for deposit, you will receive an email confirming your deposit has been received, followed by a second email when the deposit has been approved or declined.

    While you can deposit a check using your mobile device at your convenience, processing days and times may vary depending on the day or time you submit your check for deposit. Listed below are detailed steps on what to expect after you submit a mobile check deposit.

     

    If you make a mobile check deposit Monday - Friday by 7:00 p.m. ET

    Deposit Received Notification – You will be sent an email letting you know we have received your deposit, and that it is being reviewed.

    Deposit Status Notification – You will be sent a second email by 8:00 p.m. ET that same business day letting you know if your deposit was approved or declined.

    If Approved – That same business day, your account history & current balance (but not available balance) will reflect the amount of the approved deposit. Your deposited funds will be fully reflected in your available balance the next business day after the posting date.

    If Declined – The Status email will provide the reasons for the Decline.

     

    Mobile Deposits made on a weekend, after 7:00 p.m. ET or on a Holiday 

    If Approved – The next business day, your account history & current balance (but not available balance) will reflect the amount of the approved deposit. Your deposited funds will be fully reflected in your available balance the following business day after the posting date.

    If Declined – The Status email will provide the reasons for the Decline.

  •   Learn How to Get Mobile Banking

     

    Step 1 - Download the Mobile App

    • From your mobile device download the app from the Apple App Store®, Google Play Store® or Amazon® App Store.


    Step 2 – Login

    • Enter your eTreasury+ User ID and password and click continue
    • If you'd like your device to remember your User ID, select "Save my User ID"
    • On the next page enter your Company ID and click Sign on
    • On your first login through Business Mobile Banking you will be prompted to enter the mobile phone number you have registered through eTreasury+ in your user profile
    • Accept our Business Mobile Banking Terms and Conditions
    • Register your mobile phone number and click submit

Accounts and services available in Business Mobile Banking are based on your entitlements established in eTreasury+. A valid mobile phone number must be established in eTreasury+ prior to using Business Mobile Banking. Accounts available for Business Mobile Check Deposit are subject to eligibility requirements.  Mobile Web


Mobile web allows you to access your business account from your mobile device. Mobile web is ideal for devices that allow you to search the web, such as phones with web browsers like Safari or Google Chrome - but do not allow you to download mobile apps. Simply visit m.peoples.com from you mobile device and sign into Mobile Banking, eTreasury+.

Security is our Focus
Our mobile banking service utilizes best practices from online banking, such as HTTPS, 128-bit SSL encryption, PIN, or password access and application time-out when your phone is not in use. Only the phone(s) and/or devices that you personally enroll in the service can access your accounts. In addition, no account data is ever stored on your phone.
