What does this mean for me as a customer?
Your service or terms will not change as a result of this announcement. People’s United Bank has simply transferred the business directly to Sage Payroll. You will continue to receive the same high-level, quality service on the same system, though you will begin to see communications and other correspondence from Sage Payroll. Please rest assured, however, that you will receive the same great service and will enjoy the same payroll system.
Will my payroll contact change?
No. You will continue to call 1-800-846-4497 and receive the same level of service, plus you will receive access to additional services and features offered as a direct customer of Sage.
Will my payroll delivery or processing fees change?
Your current method of payroll delivery will continue. Your processing fees will only change if you choose to purchase additional services from Sage Payroll.
Is there anything I need to do?
Tax pay and file clients will soon receive instructions to update government Powers of Attorney, which must be received by December 31, 2015 to continue providing tax pay and file services to your company past 2015. Some POA forms may require your signature to be notarized, please stop in to one of our local offices if you need the assistance of a notary to complete your documents.
