Appreciation. Acknowledgement. A simple thank you for a job well done. We believe that recognition programs - formal and informal - are critical to employee satisfaction, engagement and retention and have made recognition an important part of our culture.
At People's United we place significant value on the service and commitment of our employees. Our CEO's Leadership Recognition Program recognizes those employees who best exemplify our brand - What know-how can do SM - and bring it to life every day. Our employees are recognized for being knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. They deliver smart solutions and are committed to providing an exceptional customer experience...whether they serve customers directly or support employees that do. CEO Leadership Team Members are selected quarterly and receive special recognition. In addition they are eligible for the annual "CEO's Leadership Award". These select winners and their guests are invited to attend a special awards ceremony and all-expense paid trip with People's United CEO, Jack Barnes, and members of the Executive Management Committee.
Throughout the Company, there are various programs to recognize service and individual and team performance. Here are a few of our programs:
- Quarterly recognition events to recognize employee sales, service and community achievements.
- All-expense paid recognition trip for sales producers complete with meals, entertainment and activities.
- Service anniversaries - employees celebrating milestone anniversaries are invited to an event to celebrate with colleagues and business leaders
- Service Awards and Recognition Program - employees celebrating milestone service anniversaries receive an award packet, mailed to their home, which includes a recognition certificate and a gift card voucher
