Retail Management Training Program
The People’s United Bank Retail Management Training Program prepares participants for transition into branch management roles. It provides an opportunity to develop a professional command of our retail financial services franchise while learning the management and leadership skills necessary to successfully lead one of our retail branch outlets.
Trainees who go through this intensive six month program which consists of classroom and hands-on learning. Participants will:
- Gain exposure to both our in-store and traditional banking environments
- Understand how to deliver on our brand
- Work through branch rotations to develop a strong foundation of our sales culture and learn how to champion the ultimate customer experience
- Become certified in mortgage products and attain state life insurance licenses.
Upon your successful completion of the program, graduates will lead and develop a team of engaged employees in our branches, build lasting customer relationships and become an active community leader. Career growth and development will continue with securities licensing training to become a Licensed Investment Associate.
