PEOPLE’S UNITED FINANCIAL, INC. ELEVATES POWLUS TO
SENIOR EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
BRIDGEPORT, CT – People’s United Financial, Inc. announced today that Lee Powlus, an executive vice president and member of the company’s Bank Management Committee, has been promoted to Senior Executive Vice President.
Powlus joined People’s United Financial, Inc. in 2008, through its acquisition of Chittenden Corp., where he was Senior Vice President and Director of Information Technology.

Powlus is responsible for Information Technology, Project Management, Information Security, Operations and eBusiness, Business Services and Real Estate Services. He has more than 20 years of experience in providing enterprise-level information technology solutions for financial services companies, including successful development and implementation of technology strategies and systems integrations.
Powlus received his MBA and Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont.
