Loan Payoff

The Estimated Payoff displays the estimated amount needed to pay the loan in full including fees, charges and accrued interest from the last payment through the estimated payoff date.

The good through date is the date by which you intend to pay off the loan. The estimate will include the unpaid principal balance and interest accrued, and any outstanding fees and charges.

The daily interest amount, also known as “per diem”, is calculated by multiplying the current principal balance by the interest rate, and dividing the result by 360 — or the actual number of days in a year (depending on the loan type).

For each day after the Estimated Payoff Good Through Date, add the Daily Accrual interest amount to the estimated Total Payoff amount through the date that funds will be received by People's United.

The quote is accurate only if no transactions occur on the loan since the date the payoff statement was prepared. For example – loan payments, escrow account disbursements, etc.
