John P. (Jack) Barnes is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of People's United Bank. He served as both President and Chief Executive Officer of People’s United from April 2010 until May 2018. Barnes joined People's United Financial as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer following the acquisition of Chittenden Corporation in early 2008. In this position, he managed Information Technology, Operations, Real Estate Services and Business Services. Barnes joined Chittenden Bank in 1983 as Manager of Loan Review after five years with the FDIC - Boston. He became Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Policy Officer in 1988. In 1990 he was appointed division head of the Credit Policy and Administration division, which grew to include various support services areas. In 2002, Mr. Barnes was appointed Executive Vice President in charge of the newly formed Chittenden Services Group, which included IT, Operations and other centralized services for the corporation. He is a graduate of Northeastern University and received his M.B.A. from the University of Vermont.

Dave Berey is Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer of People’s United Bank responsible for Credit Risk for Commercial and Industrial lending, Commercial Real Estate Finance, Leasing, Residential and Consumer Lending. In 1999, he was promoted to manage Business Banking and Cash Management services. In 2001, he became Senior Vice President; Head of C&I Lending and in 2011 was promoted to his current position. Prior to People’s United, Berey spent 2 ½ years with First Constitution Bank in New Haven, where he managed a loan production office and a loan workout group. Before joining First Constitution, he was with Bank of Boston CT for over 7 years in various commercial lending roles. Berey earned a B.A. in economics from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, and an M.B.A. from the University of New Haven.

Kristy Berner is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of People's United Bank and People's United Financial, Inc. She is responsible for the direction and management of the Bank's legal operation and legislative affairs.

She began her career at Hodgson Russ, LLP, a NY law firm, advising public and private companies in corporate and securities matters including M&A, public debt and equity offerings, private placements, and SEC compliance matters. She has spent more than half of her career as in-house counsel to financial institutions. She spent six years at First Niagara Bank, a $37 billion bank. In her last four years there she served as General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, guiding them through a number of M&A transactions. Prior to joining People’s United she was with Key Bank, where she has served as EVP, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.

Berner holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and political science, an M.B.A. and a law degree, from the State University of New York Buffalo. She is a member of the New York bar.

Mark Herron is Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at People’s United Bank. He is responsible for the strategic positioning of the Company and overseeing enterprise-wide marketing, digital and social media, customer research, product development, data analytics, peoples.com and corporate communications. Mark brings over 30 years of experience to the position. He joined People’s United Bank in 2016 from BB&T Corporation, in Winston-Salem, NC where he last served as Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales Manager. At BB&T he was chiefly responsible for sales and service processes, marketing analytics and marketing automation. Herron received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration-marketing from East Carolina University.

Sara Longobardi is Senior Executive Vice President, Retail Banking at People's United Bank. She is responsible for the Bank's branch network and residential and consumer lending areas as well as for ensuring the overall customer experience. Longobardi joined People's United in 1991 as Audit supervisor and was promoted to Vice President in 1993. In 1999, she joined the Bank's Regional Banking division as Vice President and area manager in the Hartford region. She moved to People's Securities, Inc., a subsidiary of People's Bank, in 2001, where she worked with the Bank's investment sales program. Longobardi also has served as Growth Manager responsible for the greater New Haven market. She was named Senior Vice President for Customer Relationship Development in the Retail and Business Banking division in 2004. In this role she developed, implemented and managed the strategy to drive the expansion and retention of profitable customer relationships. Longobardi received a Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois.

David Norton is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of People's United Bank, responsible for all human resources functions, including Total Rewards, Staffing and Recruiting, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, and HRIS. Before joining the Bank, Norton was Senior Vice President, Human Resources, at The New York Times Co. where he was accountable for all human resources-related responsibilities for 10,000 employees. Prior to that, Norton was charged with enterprise-wide human resources responsibilities at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and, earlier, at Frito Lay North America, a division of PepsiCo. He began his career at The Quaker Oats Co. Norton earned a Bachelors degree in business administration from Michigan State University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Northwestern University.

Lee Powlus is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer with oversight of Information Technology, Project Management, Information Security, Operations and eBusiness, Business Services and Real Estate Services. Powlus has more than 20 years of experience in providing enterprise-level Information Technology solutions for financial services companies, including successful development and implementation of technology strategies and systems integrations. Prior to joining People's United through its acquisition of Chittenden Corp., Powlus was Senior Vice President and Director of Information Technology with that organization. He received his M.B.A. and Bachelor of Science from the University of Vermont.

Daniel G. (Dan) Roberts is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of People's United Bank. He is responsible for overall risk management, including the compliance, loan review and operational risk functions. Most recently, Roberts has been the Chief Auditor at People’s United; the role he held since joining the company in 2012. Prior to joining People’s United, he spent 27 years at Citigroup. There he held roles as Managing Director and Chief Auditor in multiple division and global roles that included; Global Consumer Businesses, Global Compliance/AML, Global Basel Capital Management, and Global Audit Re-engineering. In addition, Roberts held domestic and international roles in consumer business management, regulatory compliance, credit loan review, credit, risk management and operational re-engineering. Roberts is a graduate of Gettysburg College where he received his Bachelor of Science in accounting.

David Rosato is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of People's United. He has more than 25 years of experience in banking with extensive finance, regulatory and treasury experience. Rosato joined People’s United in 2007 as Senior Vice President and Treasurer responsible for all treasury functions including interest-rate risk management and modeling, fixed income portfolio management, derivative activities, capital management, as well as wholesale funding and liquidity. Prior to joining the Bank, he was Treasurer at Webster Financial Corp. Rosato began his career at M&T Bank in the investment portfolio group. He earned both his M.B.A. and a Bachelors in business and economics from The University of Maryland and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Jeff Tengel, is President of People’s United. As President, Tengel leads the full complement of business lines at People’s United, with enterprise-level responsibility for Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Wealth Management. Most recently, Tengel held the position of Senior Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking at People’s United, with overall responsibility of Commercial Banking including Commercial and Industrial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Finance and Capital Markets. Tengel joined People's United in 2010 from PNC Financial Service Group, which he joined pursuant to PNC's acquisition of National City Corporation. At National City, Tengel was a member of the executive management team and Executive Vice President of Corporate Banking, responsible for managing a portfolio of business units including Capital Markets, Commercial Real Estate, Leasing, Specialized Industry Segments and Private Equity. He received his M.B.A. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and his B.S. in accounting from Marquette University.

Kirk W. Walters is Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Planning. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector, 22 of which were spent in the Northeast markets. Walters was most recently Chief Financial Officer of People's United Financial, Inc. Prior to that he was Senior Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Santander Holdings USA, Inc., the parent company of Sovereign Bank. He joined Sovereign in February 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer from October 2008 until Banco Santander acquired the bank in February 2009. Prior to joining Sovereign, Walters was, from 1996 to 2008, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chittenden Corporation, which People's United acquired in January 2008. Walters has an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Southern California.

John (Jack) G. Bundschuh heads People’s United Bank in Connecticut. He is responsible for the strategic development of all commercial and business lines, wealth management and insurance across the state. Bundschuh joined People’s United in 1986 as an Asset Based Lending Field Examiner. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility including Relationship Manager, Stamford Regional Manager, Southern CT Market Manager and CT/NY Market Manager. Prior to joining People’s United, Bundschuh was a credit analyst with the Union Trust Company in Stamford, CT. Bundschuh is active in supporting numerous non-profit organizations that provide health and welfare service to many people throughout People’s United Connecticut footprint. He is also Director of the Bridgeport Economic Development Corporation. Bundschuh holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York.

Michael J. Casparino heads People's United Bank in Connecticut. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction for branches in Connecticut's Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland and Windham Counties. Casparino joined People's United Bank as a member of the Bank's Retail Management Training Program in 1986. He has fulfilled various assignments of increasing responsibility including those of Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager, Vice President and Area Manager, and First Vice President and Senior Growth Manager in the Regional Banking division. He is also an active partner in the Bank's Quinnipiac University sponsorship. Active in his community, Casparino serves as Chairman of the CT Bankers Association, and is an Executive Board Member within the Greater Hartford area for Hartford Hospital, Hartford Economic Development Corporation, Governor’s Prevention Partnership, West Hartford Children’s Museum, the Metro Hartford Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Commission, and the Greater Hartford Insurance-Financial Services Cluster. Casparino is a past recipient (2015), of the National Conference for Community and Justice-Annual Human Relations Award. He has served on several panels appointed by the Judiciary committee of the state legislature, including committees for senior citizen housing, IOLTA accounts and mechanics liens. He has been the recipient of numerous community service, youth development, and volunteerism awards, including the People's United Bank Community Leadership Award. Casparino received his Bachelor's degree in business administration-finance from the University of Connecticut. He also graduated from the National School of Banking with honors.

Dianne Mercier began her banking career in 1985 and has spent the past 24 years actively involved in the New Hampshire banking market. Mercier joined Ocean Bank in 2003 as Senior Vice President and Group Manager for Commercial Lending has been responsible for business and market development in Manchester, Nashua and Concord, New Hampshire. Prior to joining Ocean Bank, Mercier was State Director, Community Banking for Citizens Bank, where she was responsible for the initial start-up and strategic development of the State Community Banking Group in New Hampshire. She also played an active role in the implementation of a comprehensive Small Business Lending Model. Mercier is a leader in the local community and is actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester and the Greater Manchester Family YMCA. She is currently serving on the Board for the Central Business District Committee for the City of Manchester and is a Trustee for the Elliot Health System. Additionally, she is a member of the 2009 class of the Leadership New Hampshire program. Mercier holds a Bachelor's degree in marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Michael L. Seaver currently serves as Vermont President of People’s United Bank, a $44 billion diversified financial services company based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Michael's 37-year banking career began in 1981 when he joined Chittenden Bank after graduating from Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. Michael serves as a Trustee of Mayo Healthcare, Inc. in Northfield, Vermont. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Saint Michael’s College, Chair of the Vermont Business Roundtable, Past President of the Board of United Way of Northwest Vermont and Past Chair and a member of the Executive Committee of the Vermont Bankers Association.

Patrick J. Sullivan heads People's United Bank in Massachusetts. He is responsible for the strategic development of all commercial and business lines, retail banking, wealth management and insurance across the state. Sullivan has served in a number of executive positions, spanning 35 years throughout New England. He has been President and CEO of the Howard Bank, Burlington VT, and Legacy Bank, Pittsfield MA. At Sovereign Bank, he held the dual role of President of the New England division and Managing Director of Corporate Banking throughout the Bank's footprint. Sullivan has actively participated in community development throughout his career. Currently, he is a Director of The Boston Chamber of Commerce, The Massachusetts Business Roundtable, and Massachusetts Business Development Corp, where he serves as chairman. In addition, his current professional associations include the Turnaround Management Association, Commercial Finance Association, Massachusetts High Technology Council, Smaller Business Association of New England, Hundred Club of Massachusetts, and Massachusetts Bankers Association. Sullivan earned both his Bachelor's and Master's in business administration at Bryant University, and he is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the Amos Tuck School of Dartmouth College.

Dan Thornton heads People's United Bank in Maine. Thornton joined People's United Bank in 2011 as Senior Vice President, Senior Lender for the Maine market. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President, Senior Lender at TD Bank in Portland, Maine. He brings close to three decades of experience in commercial lending to Maine businesses and institutions. Thornton is the President of the Board of Ronald McDonald House of Portland and is a Director at The Institute for Family Owned Business. He earned his Bachelor's degree in resource economics from the University of Maine and his Master's in business from Husson University.
