Charitable Giving

People's United provides charitable contributions in two ways: Initiatives through People's United Bank and grants awarded to eligible nonprofit organizations through our foundations.

The Bank

To make a positive difference in our communities, we support the important work of nonprofit organizations through charitable donations and cause-related sponsorships. Support by People’s United Bank ranges from localized food drives, fundraising events, marathons and other sponsorship opportunities, to annual company-wide initiatives including:

  • Annual United Way Giving Campaign
  • American Red Cross Disaster Relief & Recovery Efforts
  • American Heart Association Go Red for Women Campaign
  • Breast Cancer Awareness Project Pink Initiatives
