People's Bank Names Anthony A. Joyce
NORWICH, CONN. Joyce joined the former Norwich Savings Society in 1983 as a loan officer. In 1991, he was named vice president. When Peoples merged with Norwich Savings Society in 1998, Joyce joined the Peoples team as vice president, senior commercial real estate finance officer. Joyce graduated cum laude from the University of Connecticut in 1983 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. He earned a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Haven in 1991. Active in the community, Joyce serves on the executive committee of the Military Community Council, the Home Ownership Board of the Norwich Housing Authority and on the Capital Campaign Committee of Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Norwich. He has also served as local chairman and on the Legacy and Planned Giving Committee of the American Cancer Society, as director of the Mystic Branch of the New England Carousel Museum and as a volunteer with the United Way. Joyce lives in Uncasville with his wife, Lori, and their daughters, Julianne and Amanda.
