File Income Tax Returns Online Using Turbotax At Peoples.Com

People’s Offers Popular Software for Second Year

For the second year in a row, People’s is offering Intuit’s “Quicken TurboTax for the Web” at its award-winning Internet site, peoples.com, enabling consumers to file their income tax returns directly from their computers.

This kind of convenience is one reason peoples.com was recently rated the fifth-best financial services Web site in the Western Hemisphere. The site ranked ahead of those from such well-known companies as Charles Schwab, Fidelity Investments, PaineWebber, First Union, Key Corp., Wells Fargo and HSBC, in a study of 172 sites conducted by Speer & Associates, an Atlanta-based consulting firm. If they decide to file their returns using the online TurboTax, Form 1040 filers would pay $14.95 for federal returns and $9.95 for state returns, while Form 1040EZ filers would pay just $6.95 for federal returns;there is no charge for state Form 1040EZ returns.
