People's United Bank to Open Fourth Branch in Milford

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's United Bank will open its fourth office in Milford on Wednesday, October 24. The office is located at 1630 Boston Post Road in the Milford Marketplace. People's United's three other Milford branches are located at 190 South Broad Street;in the Milford Super Stop & Shop, 1364 East Town Road;and in the Silver Sands Plaza Stop & Shop, 855 Bridgeport Avenue.

This is the bank's 86th traditional branch, and it provides six-day, in-person banking to the residents and businesses of Milford. The branch has five inside customer service stations, a night deposit box, a flat panel television to watch financial news, a coffee bar, safe deposit services, one vestibule ATM, two drive-up lanes and a third drive-up ATM, a self-service coin machine (no account required), and an office in which customers may apply for a mortgage or home equity loan, invest funds or open a checking or savings account.

"We're pleased to offer Milford residents the convenience of four in-town locations," said Jim Keegan, People's United first vice president responsible for the greater New Haven region. "We have many friends in Milford and new neighbors in the Marketplace and we look forward to meeting all of them as we open this new, convenient branch."

The new Milford office on Boston Post Road is open Monday through Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Drive-Up hours are Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The office will be staffed by Assistant Vice President Financial Services Manager Dana Minore and Customer Service Manager Melissa Ciarleglio.
