People's Bank to Open Fourth Facility in Shelton

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank has opened a new facility in Shelton featuring four drive-up lanes and a drive-up ATM and night depository. Located at 860 Bridgeport Avenue in the Shelton Square Shopping Center, the facility is within one mile of the Trumbull town line and within one and one-half miles of the Stratford town line.

With a population of over 38,000 and with more than 15,000 people commuting into Shelton daily for employment, the town has many automobiles. "People's always delivers services with convenience in mind," said Armando Goncalves, first vice president and growth manager for the Greater Bridgeport region. "For busy people, we can't think of anything more convenient than a facility with five drive-up lanes and extended banking hours."

The new building will be open from Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The drive-up ATM and night depository are available 24 hours daily.

People's has three other branches in Shelton, one at Enterprise Tower at 1 Corporate Drive, another at 1000 Bridgeport Avenue, and a third in the Super Stop & Shop store also located in the in the Shelton Square Shopping Center.
