People's Bank Aids Concepts For Adaptive Learning In New Haven

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank is pleased to announce its donation of $4,000 to New Haven's Concepts for Adaptive Learning. Concepts for Adaptive Learning is a New Haven-based and community-led organization that provides educational technology services to families and schools.

People's donation will be used to help Concepts for Adaptive Learning expand its Technology Cascade & Training Program. Based on research that increased parental involvement leads to better educational outcomes, the Technology Cascade & Training Program provides basic computer training to underserved parents of children in urban public schools. When parents complete the program, a computer is installed in their home allowing them to be more active and involved in their child's education.
