Madison Truck-Or-Treat Event Gets Into Gear

People's Bank and Super Stop & Shop join forces to host a day of family fun

WHAT:
People's Bank and Madison's Super Stop & Shop will host a Truck-or-Treat day so that children can explore municipal vehicles and meet the personnel who protect and serve our community. While children are exploring the vehicles, parents can learn about ways to finance their child?s college education. This Halloween-themed day of fun will feature raffle giveaways and a disc jockey providing music. Additionally, food will be for sale with all proceeds benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

WHY:
Now that students are back in school, many parents are beginning to plan for the future by thinking about financing their child?s future education. People's Bank and Stop & Shop are providing parents with the perfect opportunity to learn about college financing while their child enjoys learning about town vehicles and the people who protect and serve our community.

WHO:
People's Bank Financial Advisor and staff, members of the National Guard, Madison firefighters with their fire truck, Madison police officers with their police cruiser, a school bus, a Stop & Shop Peapod truck and a snow plow truck.

WHEN:
Saturday, October 29, 2005, 10 a.m. ? 2 p.m.
