People's Bank Sponsors Bridgeport Sound Tiger Day

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank will help kick off the Bridgeport Sound Tiger's 2005 -2006 ice hockey season with a celebration at the People's Bank branch in Fairfield's Villa Avenue Super Stop & Shop on Saturday, October 22. The event, set to begin at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m., will feature the team's mascot, Storm, distributing season schedules. People's Bank also will hold a raffle for Sound Tiger tickets.

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers will host the Portland Pirates during their home opener at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport on Saturday, October 22.

"We are excited to open our doors and help the Sound Tigers kick off this year's hockey season. We wish them a healthy and successful season," said Anthony Petrazzuoli, People's Bank vice president and Fairfield market manager.
