James Z. Giordano Named Assistant Vice President Of Bank's Darien Office

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank today announced that James Z. Giordano has been named assistant vice president and financial services manager of the bank's Darien office, located at 25 Old King?s Highway. In this role, Giordano is responsible for developing all lines of business for the branch.

Giordano joined People's in 1974 as a management trainee. Beginning in 1991, Giordano spent 11 years working as an account vice president and financial advisor with UBS Painewebber. Giordano rejoined the bank in 2004 as a financial services manager.

Giordano received a bachelor's degree in economics from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. He also received a master's degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of New Haven. Additionally, Giordano holds Series 7, 63, 65 and life insurance licenses. He is a charter member of the Knights of Columbus - OLF Chapter, former president of the Old Greenwich-Riverside Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Award and a former member of the Norwalk Father's Club.

Giordano resides in Norwalk with his wife, Michele, and son, David.
