Statewide Housing Tour Set For September 27

WHAT:
People's Bank is pleased to announce its participation in the Statewide Housing Tour co-sponsored by the Connecticut State Chapter of the NAACP and Fannie Mae. The workshop will cover financial topics including predatory lending, financial literacy, credit repair and funding resources. The workshop is open to members of the NAACP and the general public.

WHY:
The workshop is designed to educate consumers about predatory lending practices and maintaining overall financial well-being.

WHO:
Speakers for the workshop will include: Waldo Williams, vice president, chief operations officer, Emergence Community Lending and Development Consultants;State Representative Kenny Green, chairman of the Housing Committee and Hakeem J. Webb, economic chair, NAACP State Conference and chairmen of the housing tour.
