MARILYN WIEGMAN, FINANCIAL SERVICES MANAGER AVP, JOINS PEOPLE'S FAIRFIELD OFFICE

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - Marilyn Wiegman, assistant vice president and financial services manager, has joined the People's Bank Fairfield office, located at 837 Post Road. Prior to moving to the Fairfield office, Wiegman served as assistant vice president and financial services manager in the bank's Southport office.

Wiegman joined People's Bank in 1996 as an assistant manager and was responsible for opening the Shelton Stop & Shop branch. In 1998, she opened the Madison Avenue Stop & Shop branch in Bridgeport. Most recently, she spent three years at People's Norwalk Financial Center as financial services manager.

Wiegman graduated from Trinity College with a bachelor's degree. She holds the Series 6 and 63 licenses from the National Association of Securities Dealers and is a licensed investment associate. Wiegman also holds a life insurance license and is mortgage certified.

Wiegman is a Fairfield resident and the mother of three daughters. She is a member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
