SARA LONGOBARDI PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLE'S

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank today announced that Sara Longobardi has been named senior vice president for Customer Relationship Development in the bank's Marketing and Regional Banking division. In this role, Longobardi is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the strategy to drive the expansion and retention of profitable customer relationships.

Longobardi joined People's in 1991 as audit supervisor and was promoted to vice president in 1993. In 1999, she joined Regional Banking as vice president and area manager in the Hartford region. She joined People's Securities, Inc., a subsidiary of People's Bank, in 2001, where she worked with the bank's investment sales program. Longobardi also has served as the growth manager for the greater New Haven market. Most recently, Longobardi served as first vice president of customer relationship development for Regional Banking.

Longobardi received a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois. She resides in Orange.
