![]() ![]() June 2, 2004SUSAN A. MATLOS PROMOTED TO FIRST VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLE'S BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank today announced that Susan A. Matlos has been named first vice president of Financial Services in the bank's Finance division. In this role, Matlos is responsible for corporate tax, risk management, purchasing, accounts payable, fixed asset accounting and contract administration. Matlos joined People's in 1997 as vice president and director of Corporate Tax and has assumed responsibility for additional financial functions during her seven-year tenure. Prior to joining People's, Matlos was director of tax for Electronic Payment Services in Wilmington, Del. Matlos is a Certified Public Accountant who received a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. She also holds a master's degree in business administration from Drexel University, also located in Philadelphia. She resides in Wethersfield.
