PEOPLE'S BANK REBRANDS INVESTMENT UNITS UNDER SINGLE NAME: PEOPLE'S FINANCIAL ADVISORS

New Name Provides "A Wider View" of People's Investment Services

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank announced today that its investment units -- People's Securities, Inc., Olson Mobeck Investment Advisors, and Wealth Management & Trust -- are being branded under a single name: People's Financial Advisors.

"The new branding provides our clients with a wider view of People's personal investment advisory services as well as our trust and estate planning expertise," said Bryan Huebner, People's executive vice president of Consumer Financial Services. "Formerly, each of these investment areas had its own brand."

Rebranding People's investment services under one name also allows People's to better communicate its broad range of investment capabilities. "This change makes it easier to communicate the synergies that exist among our investment teams," Huebner said. "With our new brand, we will be communicating to our clients that no matter how simple or complex their investment needs, People's has a financial services expert to help them reach their goal."

A print advertising campaign, with the positioning "Wider View," will begin on February 23. The campaign includes a series of six different ads, each featuring specific investment needs and how a People's Financial Advisor can help a client meet their financial objectives with "A Wider View". The ads will highlight investment, estate, education and retirement planning, among other financial needs.

The advertising campaign was developed by Outhouse Communication of Weston, CT.
