SANDRA B. PARKS PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT AT PEOPLE'S NEW CANAAN BRANCH

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank officials have promoted Sandra B. Parks to vice president. Parks has been the financial services manager/assistant vice president of the bank's New Canaan branch at 95 Main Street for the past four years.

Parks has 12 years of branch banking experience including four years with New York-based money center banks. As financial services manager at People's, she is responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers by ensuring that New Canaan branch employees consistently exceed customers' expectations.

"Sandy is an extraordinary representative for People's with her strong involvement in New Canaan, which mirrors our bank's commitment to its communities," said Vincent Santilli, first vice president, Regional Banking. "She works closely with her team to create a superior customer experience by building relationships with and serving her customers."

Parks has resided in New Canaan since 1992 with her husband, Steve, and two children, Doug and Cara. She is a member of the New Canaan Rotary Club, New Canaan's Women's Republican Club, Parent Teacher Council and Lake Club. She also is a board member of the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce. Sandy is being sponsored for the National Charity League-New Canaan Chapter in April. She is also a prior member of the New Canaan Young Women's League, New Canaan Newcomers and New Canaan Nature Center.

Parks has a B.A. in math/business from Skidmore College, and previously graduated with honors from Darien High School.
