Catherine Tremaglio Named
as Vice President at People's

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. - People's Bank officials today announced Catherine Tremaglio has been named as vice president and customer experience manager in Regional Banking for the bank's greater Fairfield County market. In this role, Tremaglio is responsible for ensuring a favorable and consistent banking experiences for People's customers. She is based in Stamford and is responsible for 36 branches from Greenwich to Fairfield and as far north as New Milford.

"Catherine is a dynamic leader," said Parry Spahr, senior vice president, Regional Banking at People's. "She has been a driving force in creating a customer-centric culture in every branch she has managed. Our customers, as well as her employees, have benefited from Catherine's ability to effectively coach and motivate her staff to achieve exceptionally high levels of customer service."

Tremaglio joined People's in 1995 as a teller and was promoted into the bank's Management Training Program in 1997. She has since served as a manager in various branches, most recently at the Black Rock Turnpike office in Fairfield. Prior to joining People's, Tremaglio held positions in human resources, communications and sales training at Filene's and began her career in the Ridgefield public school system.

A sustaining member and past president of the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County, Tremaglio currently serves on the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival board. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Manhattanville College and earned a master's degree in education from Fairfield University. Tremaglio and her husband live in Fairfield, where they raised their three sons.
