Johnson, who has worked at People's Bank since 1994, designs, implements and manages the bank's formal consumer compliance program. Johnson, a graduate of Sacred Heart University, founded the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut in 1989 and currently sits on its board of governors. She was certified as a bank compliance officer in 1994 by the Bank Administration Institute and in 1997 was certified as a regulatory compliance manager by the Institute of Certified Bankers. Johnson completed the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Compliance in 1998, and she has served as an instructor for the American Institute of Banking. A resident of Fairfield, where she lives with her husband, Richard, and sons, Tim and Peter, Johnson serves as treasurer of Cub Scout Pack 197 and is an adviser to People's Bank-sponsored Junior Achievement companies.
