People's Opens 63rd Super Stop & Shop Location At South Windsor Stop & Shop Branch

People's Bank today is opening its 63rd supermarket office inside the South Windsor Super Stop & Shop at 1739 Ellington Road. Local dignitaries as well as friends and neighbors are welcome to the grand opening festivities to celebrate the convenience of seven-day, full-service banking in South Windsor.

"Today our supermarket branches reflect our commitment to providing the best service and convenience to our customers. Based on the success of our other Super Stop & Shop offices, we believe our customers truly appreciate the convenience of seven-day-a-week banking."

The public is invited to stop by the new branch to meet Financial Service Manager Amy Howard and Customer Service Manager Erika Interlande and learn about People's grand-opening specials - an offer of free checking for two years plus 50 free checks, special bonus rate CDs and an offer of a $10 Stop & Shop coupon.

In honor of today's grand opening, People's will donate $1,000 to the South Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.

The South Windsor Super Stop & Shop office is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
