People's Names Cheryl Cunneen Vice President, Regional Banking Sales System

BRIDGEPORT, CONN.
People's Bank has named Cheryl L. Cunneen vice president, Regional Banking Sales Systems. In her new position, Cunneen will be responsible for developing new sales and promotional strategies to enhance the positive results in People's statewide branch network.

In addition, Cunneen will manage the branch incentive plan, implement sales reporting tools and maintain the branch sales reporting system.

Cunneen plays a key role in developing and managing new programs that benefit People's customers and employees throughout the state. Most recently, People's launched the highly regarded "Primetime Program," which enhances customer service by dedicating staff to work during the busiest hours of the day. In addition to enhancing the customer experience, Primetime gives People's employees greater flexibility to manage their personal lives.

Cunneen joined People's in 1997 as a senior financial analyst in corporate finance, where she evaluated potential acquisitions and capital investments. In 2001, she joined People's Marketing and Regional Banking division as the regional sales and service manager. Prior to joining People's, Cunneen was a corporate analyst at Centerbank. She also has served as an investment/budget analyst at The Bank of Southington.

Cunneen has a bachelor's degree in finance from Babson College, and has studied international banking at the Sorbonne in Paris. Currently she is pursuing a master's of business administration at Quinnipiac University. Additionally, Cunneen is attending the National School of Banking.

Cunneen lives in Wallingford with her husband John.
