People's Names Kenneth Griffin
Manager of Stamford Trust Office

BRIDGEPORT, CONN.
People’s Bank has named Kenneth M. Griffin vice president, trust officer, with the Trust and Investment Management Services Division. He is the manager of the Stamford area trust office, where he administers estate, trust and investment accounts and works with clients in the tax and financial areas as well as estate planning and retirement planning.

Griffin most recently served as the Fairfield County Manager for the Webster Trust Company, and has worked with the Westport Bank and Trust Company, as well as Fleet Investment Services as its Fairfield County manager of Trust Administration in Greenwich.

Griffin holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Psychology from the University of Maryland and attended the National Trust School at Northwestern University. He is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and has taught courses for the American Institute of Banking.

Griffin is a member and past president of the Lower Fairfield County Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Western Connecticut Tax and Estate Planning Council. He has been actively involved in youth sports in Stamford for the past 20 years, and is an executive director of Stamford Youth Basketball. He resides in Stamford with his wife, Rosemary. They have three grown children.
