Bill Payment Services

Paying bills online is free and easy at People’s United. If you already use our telephone bill payment service, your merchants are already signed up. If not, or if you would like to add more, here’s what you do:

1. Logon People’s United Online.

2. Click on “add/delete merchants”.

3. Fill out the merchant information completely (e.g. merchant name, address, account number).

4. You will receive a confirmation from us via mail a few days later and the merchants will appear on the bill pay screen.

5. You’re ready to go!

You may pay your bills up to a year in advance! What could be more convenient when you’re on vacation?

Please keep in mind that not all merchants accept electronic payments -- so be sure to pay your bills ahead of time to allow for processing.
