Olson Mobeck - Investment Process

4 Basic Steps in Managing Your Account
Olson Mobeck will provide you with superior professional management of your investment portfolio. The investment team follows five basic steps in managing your account.*

  1. Setting the strategy. The portfolio management team determines an appropriate long-term target asset allocation mix across stock, bond, and mutual fund asset classes which seek to provide your portfolio with the highest returns consistent with your stated risk tolerence.
  2. Putting the initial pieces into place. Your investment manager will provide recommendations for an investment strategy and the underlying portfolio.
  3. Making ongoing tactical changes. Our portfolio management team continually reviews your investments and makes changes to your portfolio over time, assessing such things as economic outlooks, changes in the financial markets, as well as market valuations. We do not attempt to time the markets by trying to anticipate short-term volitility. Instead, a disciplined strategy is used to position your portfolio for future opportunities on a risk-adjusted basis, keeping your long-term investment goals in mind.
  4. Keeping you informed. This is an integral and valuable part of the service provided. You will receive monthly or quarterly written investment appraisals, year-end capital gain/loss reports, annual performance reviews and frequent personal meetings. If changes in your investment objectives, personal situation, or financial condition occur between reviews, it is important that you notify your portfolio manager as soon as possible, because any change may affect the suitability of your current strategy.
