You can open an account by completing the new account application and visiting a People's United Bank branch. Once you've established an account, you can easily add features and make adjustments at anytime.

1. Read the Customer Agreement and Privacy Notice
2. Complete and sign the New Account Application
3. Visit a People's United Bank branch with your completed application, your driver's license and initial investment (check, security or transfer instructions)

Many of our forms may be printed by visiting our Forms Center. To transfer assets from another account, simply complete the account transfer form and bring it with you to the branch when opening your account with a copy of the most recent statement for the account(s) you are transferring and your application.
