You can enroll by visiting Equifax Credit WatchOnline.
From there, just follow the easy 4-step process:
1. Registration: Complete the form with your contact information (name, address, telephone number, social security number, date of birth, and e-mail address). Set up a user name and password to gain access to the Member Center. The information is provided in a secured online environment.
2. Verify Your Identity: Equifax will verify your identity by asking you up to two security questions.
3. Order Summary: During the "check out" process, enter your individual promotional code, which is the "Reference Number" printed on the top of the opposite side of this letter, in the "Enter Promotion Code" box (see below for an example).

Please note that your code is case sensitive, should include a dash, and should not include spaces. After entering your code press the "Apply Code" button and then the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. This code eliminates the need to provide a credit card number for payment since People's United will pay for your one-year subscription.
4. Go to the Member Center: Once in the Member Center you will be able to customize your alerts.
If you do not have access to the Internet or wish for any other reason to enroll in "Equifax Credit Watchby Mail" instead of the online service, please call Equifax at 866-252-4576 and identify yourself as a People's United Bank customer. You will need the "Reference Number" printed at the top of the opposite side of this letter in order to enroll.
Equifax's credit monitoring service will provide you with an "early warning system" for changes to your credit file and help you to understand its content. The service monitors your Equifax credit file and
alerts you by e-mail or regular mail when there is a key change such as an inquiry, a new account established using your personal information or an address change. This will help you to quickly identify and report any fraudulent activity. The service also includes, among other benefits, a free Equifax Credit Reportand access to a premium customer care center. The customer care center provides you with expert assistance in helping you to understand your credit report and to report possible suspicious activity.
