This screen is used to
check on the status of your orders. Under ordinary circumstances
your market orders will be approved by People's Securities, executed
on the appropriate exchange, and confirmed through this screen on
People's Online within a matter of minutes. This screen will
also display unexecuted limit orders and next day trades that you
may have placed. The following fields are shown for your reference:
- Note:
If you need to cancel a pending trade, highlight it, and then
click on the Delete Order button. If you need to change a pending
order, highlight it, and then click on the Change Order button
This will launch the Change TradeChanging_an_Order window.
Mutual fund transactions
are not handled through the Order Status Screen. Only rejected mutual
fund orders will appear. Please contact us at (800)390-3009 for
assistance with canceling or changing mutual fund transactions.
- Account
[displayed on screen as Acct.]- Shows Cash, Margin or Short.
- Symbol &
Description indicate the security your trade was placed
on.
- Action
indicates Buy or Sell Transaction.
- Quantity
is the number of shares traded.
- Price
indicates the limit price of the trade, or MKT in the case of
market orders.
- Status
shows the current status of your trade using the following indicators;
Executed - This trade has been completed as you
requested.
Pending - This trade has been completed as you
requested.
Rejected - This trade has been denied by People's
Securities. To find out more contact People's Securities at (800)772-4400.
- Order ID
is used for confirmation purposes. Please have this number handy
if you need to call People's Securities regarding a trade.
