People's United Online Bill Payment

Paying Bills The Easy Way*
You'll find that paying your bills with People's United Online will make this chore simple and convenient. To get started just tell us what merchants you want to pay. People's United can pay anyone you'd like, from your water bill to the local florist.

How do I sign up my bill payment payees?

• Login to People's United Online
• Click on the "Pay Bills" tab.
• Click the "Manage Payees" link.
• Choose whether you want to to add a "Person Payee" or "Company Payee"

If you're adding a Company Payee:

• Enter the company you wish to search for.
• Pick the company you wish to add from the "Company Picklist."
• You will then be provided with a form to verify that the company's information is correct.
• Once done, click "Next," and your payee will be added.

If you're adding a Person Payee:

• You will need to enter the payee's name, address, city, state, zip code and phone number.
• Or if the person payee has an account at People's United, you can deposit the funds into the account, which requires you to provide your payee's account number and zip code.

Your payee will be instantly added and be available to schedule payments.
