One of the nicest features of People's United Online is its ability to retrieve your account balances and a corresponding history of transactions from People's United Bank.
The account summary page displays all of the accounts that you have currently added to People's United Online. It also includes balance information for each account. You can select an account name to view account activity for that account. If for some reason you cannot select an account, access may be blocked or the account may have been deactivated.
Please Note: All People's United Bank accounts cannot be viewed on-line.
People's United Online retains all of your account information since the beginning of your last statement cycle, making it easy to find out what checks have cleared, what that last ATM deposit was, etc. Retrieving your account transaction history couldn't be simpler. Use the drop-down lists to select the account and type of transaction you want to view. Select "-ALL-" to view all transactions. Enter the date range of account activity to display or select the 'From' and 'To' calendar icons to choose a date range and click Display.
You can sort the account history by clicking on the titles of each column. Please note that the running balance only displays when the transaction information is sorted by date.
Use the display drop-down to easily sort by common transaction types.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Transfers and bill payments made after the close of business Monday thru Saturday or any time on a Sunday, will be reflected in your account balance & history the NEXT business day. (Except Holidays)
- ATM deposits will reflect in your balance but should not be drawn against or used for bill payments until the posting date on your deposit receipt. If used prior to availability, you may risk overdraft or uncollected fees.
You can change how you view the information by using the sort options at the top of any account history page. For example, if you want to see all of the items that were transferred to your account, simply click on the drop down box next to the Display option, and choose transfer. Then click the Display button. People's United will then retrieve just your transfers and display them to you. To return to viewing all of your history items, choose the Display "-All-" choice. You can specify what range of dates to display or export. By default, we show your entire available history - from the beginning of your last statement. Once you specify a date range the account history window and all sort options will apply to any transactions within that date range. - DOWNLOAD
