People's United Online enrollment is a simple, five step process that takes about 5 minutes to complete. Follow the guide below and you'll be banking online in minutes!

STEP ONE

The first step of the enrollment process is to choose between enrolling a personal or a business checking account. You will have the opportunity to add more accounts to your People's United Online profile when the enrollment process is complete.

If you were provided an enrollment card by a branch employee, don't forget to enter the branch codes on the card into the Branch Code 1 and Branch code 2 fields.

STEP THREE


Please provide a valid checking account number and your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or Business Identification Number (BIN).

STEP FOUR


You're almost done! Please choose a username and password for logging in to People's United Online.

Your username must be between 6 and 32 characters, and can include letters and/or numbers.

Your password must be between 8 and 16 characters, and must include letters and at least one number.

STEP FIVE


Congratulations, you've completed enrollment in People's United Online! You are ready to begin banking online.

FIRST LOGIN


The very first time you login to People's United Online, you will be asked to fill out 5 "security questions" that will be used for two purposes:

  1. Verify your identity if you forget your password.
  2. Verify your identity if you sign on from an atypical time and place (for example, vacation in Europe).

Double check the questions you have selected and note that answers are case sensitive.

When you have finished enrolling your challenge questions, you're ready to bank online.
